Got
a call from Eric Davies,
would I have the time to accompany him to WA to check out the new
Salomon technology S-Core and enjoy the 5star wqs event and all
the other trimmings.
The answer was yes of course and we were stoked that Laminations
and \Beach Beat had been chosen to attend.
Day1
After an early start from St Agnes we hit the road and after a great
flight we arrived at Perth with the guys from Pukas where we met
up with Pascal and Lauraunt from Salomon.

After the initial greeting we were whisked away to the top secret
R&D factory hidden in Perth where the Salomon Technology was
being developed by the team headed up by Eric Metrot along with
top International shapers Erik Arakawa, Simon Anderson, Greg Webber
plus several top European representatives. After checking it all
out we were off to Margaret River for a couple of days of getting
to know the whole gang and the philosophy plus putting in some
valuable input.
Then we got together at Gracetown/Lefties, to see and try the
boards in action (Pics Right)

2
A quick trip up to Moses Rock, and a great day with Vance Burrow
and friends.
After testing
the equipment during a day of clean waves, the boys began sampling
the fine wineson offer.
